Guided Abstract workshop with Lolly Owens – Open to beginners as well as intermediate and advanced levels. Work on watercolor paper, canvas, or panel boards.
Learn new ways to layer acrylic paint for depth and visual intrigue. Learn to hear and trust your intuition. Brief chair meditation and warm-up painting exercises begin each session. We will scribble, scratch, glue, paint, spray, remove, blend, glaze, and amplify. You will feel freedom, learn to cope with frustration, and evolve your art to a new level. Color theory and design concepts will structure your composition and editing. You will learn to both design intentionally before painting as well as intuitively during painting.
