To the artist, Autumn is a palette of color explosion to paint and we immediately think of what paint colors to mix and the techniques to capture these vibrant colors. For the first class, I plan on doing trees of gold, reds, and oranges with complimentary colors of shades of purples, and greens. Maybe a barn down a lane or stream.
Drawing is important to plan the design and composition using a sketch book, then the real fun begins when we put the drawing on paper and begin to paint.

Materials List
W - cadmium yellow, C - lemon yellow, W - cadmium red, C - alizarin crimson, W - cerulean blue, C - ultramarine blue or cobalt blue. These are primary split palette colors using two yellows, two reds and two blues in a warm and cool of each color. Additional colors I use : W - yellow ochre or raw sienna, W - burnt sienna, sap green, hookers green, violet but I like mixing my own.
