Laura Sippos, 9/17 Intro to Perspective: TWO Point Perspective

Two-point perspective class introduces the fundamental concepts of creating the illusion of depth on a 2D surface using two vanishing points. The class will cover establishing the horizon line, placing vanishing points, and drawing converging lines to create a sense of depth and realism.  Demonstration and hands-on exercises will allow the artist to build and hone this important skill.  All skill levels, but some understanding of one point perspective is helpful. Students should bring a 9”x12” or larger spiral bound sketchbook.
