Learn to do stab sewing that we usually call Japanese binding. We'll make four books using four different decorative stitch patterns. This technique is ideal for binding single sheets of paper in soft covers. These books can be used for sketching. diaries, notes, messages or even recipes. We'll be using handmade paper for the covers and sketching paper for the text pages. From these samples you can develop your own special books. If you want to make a watercolor paper book, bring in the paper of your choice. A materials fee of $5.00 will cover the other books we will make.
